Anime Rankings

There's just too much good quality anime to really rank!

Guess I'll just have to categorize it a little. Rankings are in decreasing order on a 10-point scale:

10.0 (should be 20) Maison Ikkoku 1-96: Best romantic comedy, hands down. Just plain awesome. See this series in order. Wow.
9.1 Blueseed 1-20: Pretty good, even unsubbed.
9.0 Ranma 1/2: Also pretty darn funny, but some episodes are a bit lacking
8.8 D.N.A.^2 1-12: A bit hentai in places, but still pretty good.
8.0 Kimagure Orange Road: Would definitely have been better if they'd let the characters develop and get a clue!

9.8 Wings of Honneamise: See it in a theater; even LDs won't do the art justice.
9.5 Silent Moebius #1, 2: Yow! Art, animation, music and more showoffs. Really, really good.
9.3 Patlabor Movie #2: Art gets a 10 rating, but the complex plot knocks it down a little
9.2 Legend of the Galactic Heroes Movie #1: Drool. Nice space combat, art & animation
9.0 Patlabor Movie #1: Pretty good
8.9 Totoro: Awesome art and animation. Designed for kids, though
7.5 Ranma 1/2 Movie #1: Starts well, but the fights in the middle are too rushed.

9.9 Record of Lodoss Wars (1-13): *WHAM*. Really, really, really good. An inspired translation of a D&D campaign to the small screen.
9.6 Vampire Princess Miyu (1-4): Watch this off a LD player on a 12-foot LCD projected screen, at 100dB for full impact.
9.2 KO Century Beast Warriors (series 1,2): Crisp art, and a lot of humor, too.
9.0 Legend of the Galactic Heroes (1-52): 1-26 are much better than 27-52 in terms of art and such
8.9 Video Girl Ai 1-6: Sweet and sad at once
Macross + # 1: Darn nice looking. Music could use some work.
8.6 Dragon Half 1-2: Partly SD parody of all advendure series. A real riot
